Dr. Segundo Mesa Castillo is an experienced Neurology Specialist with a decade of dedicated service at the Institute of Neurology in Havana, Cuba. His career spans over 32 years of research focused on Electron Microscopy in Schizophrenia. He has been honored with the prestigious International Prize from the Stanley Foundation Award Program. Additionally, he was selected by the Professional Committee for a fellowship at the Laboratory of Central Nervous System Studies, National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Stroke, under the mentorship of Dr. Joseph Gibbs. This six-month fellowship took place at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Washington, D.C., USA.
